Northern Colorado Springs Real Estate & Homes for Sale

Planned Communities

Colorado Springs was for a very long time just a sleepy little down at the base of a very, very big mountain. As companies looked for more outdoor-oriented places to set up shop and give their employees a healthier lifestyle, Colorado Springs real estate started to grow and expand northward to the Denver area’s Douglas County Line.

Most of the open land was either softly rolling or pretty flat and a number of creative Colorado Springs real estate developers thought they couldn’t miss with views of “that mountain” visible from the furthest eastern farm.

As a result, over the past 20 years, a number of planned Colorado Springs real estate communities have sprung up on the eastside of Interstate 25. Their developers' goals were to provide housing and all the ways possible to keep homeowners and their families enjoying all the things they love within a few blocks of their properties. So golf communities like those seen in Southern California or Arizona took form; communities that look like the Tuscan province in Italy took shape; neighborhoods with community centers, their own elementary schools, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and neighborhood-specific hiking and biking paths grew in the mind’s eye of the best builders Colorado Springs real estate has to offer.

Each varies from the other and it’s hard for Cordera Poolmost people to pick which of the many planned communities here in Northern Colorado Springs they like the best.
